The Framing Project

Launched Tuesday 27 October. The old program runs beside it for two weeks.

The recipes run from page 8 to page 75; the rest is the cover, the roles table, troubleshooting, the glossary, quick-reference cards and appendices., with recipes for the front desk, the workshop, marketing and the owner, each one carried out on screen before it was written down. Beside it, a production guide for Nic and the workshop follows one test job from sale to installation.

Every morning at eight a pricing watchdog I wrote with Claude Code checks the prices on the test system. status: The firmware has been paused since 24 September. The case is still open.

The case is the open question: by 27 September there were eight massing models at the real component sizes, rendered from a script, and a shortlist of three, a T-bar, a rugged one and a clamshell.

I started it again in code on 14 September. On 20 October I drew my maker’s mark in pen. A script traced and inked it, and the site’s underlines, arrows and frames are drawn in the same ink.
