Six studies I’d like you to read first, then the archive, newest first.

Photographs unless labelled otherwise.

Renders, screens, diagrams, sketch models and retouched pictures say so beside the picture.

Six studies

  1. The live home page: 'Your vision, made to measure.' over the first of its four room slides, a frameless organic mirror above a walnut vanity, with Design a mirror and Design a frame, under a header with Mirrors, Framing, Trade, Shop and Start designing.
The live home page on a phone: the organic mirror above a walnut vanity, then 'Your vision, made to measure.' with Design a mirror and Design a frame.

the live home page, on a laptop and a phone

A framing workshop’s site, studios and platform: one system, from enquiry to invoice.

    my part
Architect and builder from May 2026. The pricing engine was built with InTechual Solutions.
    status
    Launched 27 Oct 2026.
  2. The workshop floor in black and white, felt-topped benches with tools and tape in front, moulding stacked against the back wall, coiled air lines hanging from the roof, and two framers at work.

the floor it was built for

the floor it was built for

A shop-floor board for a framing and mirror workshop.

    my part
Designed it and built it with coding agents, January to July 2026: all 156 of its commitssourceGit history of the MirrorFactory OS repository, 12 January to 31 July 2026: 156 commits. Since a .mailmap added on 29 October 2026 (commit 798786b), git shortlog lists every commit under my name, 157 with that one. are under my name.
    note
I built it for iPads. The floor kept its TV.
  3. Three screens from the firmware's own test harness, overlapped on a cream background: a clock screen with the date and '2 sessions need', the eight-tile launcher (Terminal, Monitor, Voice, Files, Level, Torch, Settings, Today) under a '1 needs you' chip, and a status screen with a y/n question waiting.

A pocket ESP32-S3 terminal, with eight keys and a two-inch touch screen.

    my part
The brief, the hardware and the testing on the device. The firmware was written with Claude Code: 140 of its 141 commitssourceGit history of the firmware repository, 31 August to 24 September 2026: 141 commits, 140 with a Co-Authored-By: Claude line. Recounted 29 October 2026..
    note
Two bugs still got through to the device. Both were fixed the same evening.
  4. The grey pebble-shaped shell worn at the neckline of a maroon top embroidered with silver sequin flowers, photographed outdoors. Pink light shows through its petal cut-outs and a small push button sits at its left end.

    worn at the neckline

    worn at the neckline

A wearable ECG for rural Kutch, its shell patterned on Kutch embroidery.

    my part
Designed and made alone, as a UNSW Master of Design studio project. AI helped with the v3 board’s code.
    note
It hasn’t been through clinical validation.
  5. The blue Warp Drive that went on sale, from above and to one side: a lime knob with a faceted grip, two lime buttons, two blue LEDs lit, a USB-C cable plugged in, and a ring on the starfield screen.

    one knob, two buttons

    one knob, two buttons

A STEM toy with one knob, two buttons and 18 things to find in space.

    my part
Designed end to end, a personal project: the enclosure and the electronics, and the firmware written mostly by AI coding assistants to what I set and tested.
    note
Powered off with a long press, it drained its battery anyway. I fixed that in software in November 2025. The knob’s drain is still there.
  6. The Solis prototype on a rooftop solar array, a white printed box with a fringe of mop under its edge, four strings running out across the array and a black lead running in.

    2021

A cable-driven robot built to clean rooftop solar panels.

    my part
Designed and built with Devarsh Patel, a Nirma University course project.
    note
    We never measured a clean.

The archive

7 pieces, 2020 to 2025

Pick a tag. The studies that share it join in.

  1. AI images

A web app that takes a rough product idea and returns a structured design report: personas, questions, concepts, a visual.

    Personal project. Released
